The La Sportiva Ultra Raptor II Mid Leather GTX boots are a new edition of the iconic Ultra Raptor Mid model developed for fast hiking and excursions with light loads.

The high level of water protection is due to the Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort membrane used in these boots. Thanks to it, your feet will always remain dry and protected from the cold on rainy days. The breathable membrane is also responsible for wicking moisture away from the inside of the boots. In situations of intense activity, it will not allow excess moisture to accumulate on the skin. As a result, it ensures optimum thermal comfort. Thanks to these properties, the shoes are also ideal for trekking in winter.

The nubuck leather uppers are reinforced with compression lines that guarantee a wrapped foot and high stability. Abrasion-resistant and breathable, it is ideal for hiking.

The lacing system has been integrated into the abrasion-resistant upper by means of loops sewn onto the inner elastic fabric and high-frequency reinforcements on the outer mesh. The use of such a system allows the lacing tension to be distributed across the entire upper and to wrap the foot in the best possible way for excellent wearing comfort.

The high degree of cushioning and flexibility is responsible for the midsole made of injected EVA-INJECTED material. This solution is ideal for off-road use, as it reduces the crushing effect while maintaining increased resistance to bumps.

The La Sportiva Frixion Blue® sole with integrated shock-resistant rubber sole is the brand's proprietary solution. It is a super traction and abrasion-resistant type, ideal for high-performance mountain boots. The sole also features the innovative Impact Brake System, which absorbs unpleasant impacts on the ground and improves traction, especially when running downhill.

The soles used make the shoes highly versatile. They are ideal for trekking on any type of terrain, including stone, scree, grass, moss or mud and in wet or dry conditions.

The exclusive OrthoLite® Hybrid insole, made from 20% recycled materials, is characterised by maximum wearing comfort thanks to ventilation and highly breathable PU foam cells. This ensures that the foot is always dry and kept at the ideal temperature.
